Reputation In Heaven!

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Hebrews 1: 9

To begin with, who is famous in Heaven? We need to start with our Maker, our heavenly Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as Michael and Gabriel and all the other angels if you please! Then we have those who were made flesh and blood and lived on the face of this Earth but for a moment. They are now counted among the number of all the everlasting heavenly creations of whom Paul describes to us in Hebrews chapter 12 as, ‘… so great a cloud of witnesses…’, having obtained a good report through faith. They include Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephtae, David, Samuel, and countless others who refused to live in comfort along with the rest of the world but chose to live through trials, cruel mockings, scourgings, in bonds and imprisonments, stoned, sawn asunder, slain with the sword, wandering in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented, wandering in deserts and in mountains, and living in dens and in caves. I am sure that Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Joshua, Caleb, and John the Baptist are among these heroes of faith, but like it says, time would fail me to print the names of all those who form this great cloud of witnesses who are all God’s famous people.

God’s Famous People!

When I think about one of Jesus’s greatest parables (the one about the rich man burning in hell) I think about this rich man who was greatly loved by many who drank, ate, and were merry. He was a famous type of person, yet he had no fame in heaven for the good he may have done on Earth! Read Luke chapter 16. I gather that his life still did not attract God’s attention even when he cried to Abraham. He is not the only one. There are countless individuals who are found with the same earthly fame as this rich man, who have chosen to love iniquity for the fame of men and women but have no fame with God unto everlasting life.

Jesus came so that man’s walk of faith would be different from those who form this cloud of witnesses. We are not asked to conquer any particular goal on this side of heaven, but we are to be born of the Spirit, to embrace God’s righteousness (God’s fame), to be a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God through Jesus Christ (the Word of God). There is only one portion of fame with God and that is to be joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with Him. All those who became famous with God before Christ had their own race to run. Today, there is only one race; the New Testament race. In this race, to be famous with God, we must run in Christ Jesus as the wife of the Lamb arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, which is the righteousness of the Saints.

We are so thankful unto God and Jesus Christ for your righteousness. Together we have come this far with God’s approval in the Holy Ghost through Christ, calling people from ocean to ocean to the gospel of Christ which is the power of God for the saving of their soul. God will only work with clean vessels who are holy and sanctified. The Gagnon family will always delight in the Lord to see you called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Hallelujah!

To be famous with God today is a very powerful thing and yet very selective. Two shall be in the field, the one shall be taken and the other left. Two shall be grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken and the other left. Understand that it is not so much for you and I be attracted to Jesus, but that Jesus be attracted to us who live holy and sanctified after being washed in his blood. Let us carry on in the righteousness of God. We are the tools God needs to call others to become like you and I. After all, my wife and I and our children were all God had to draw your attention. Countless souls have yet to be reached. At any time, the Holy Ghost can direct one of us to a soul or to souls who are crying after holiness and the righteousness of God, but who do not know where to go to find it.

My Beloved;

The time God anointed my family and I to go into your city to give you the truth was no inspiration of mine. God knew you were hurting and that no church could help you with the truth. By obeying the call of God, the truth you were in need of came to you and your soul recognized exactly what you were in need of, and today, here you are called of God for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

It is a real joy to see you striving to enter the straight gate. We have preached in vain, spent countless offerings in vain, travelled in vain, gave our life in vain, left our children at home in vain, did not enjoy our children in vain, and in vain our children did not enjoy their Mom and Dad at home like most children going to school. Christ even died in vain for all those who did not care to convert. But none of this has been in vain for you! Hallelujah! You are the fruit of our labor and our eyes are focused on you who have become famous before God in Christ Jesus. We are still on the go, obeying the call of God, always anxious to reach as many as possible and to find one here and one there who (just like you) hate evil and is hungry for righteousness with a thirst to be fed by holy men of God who walk with fear and trembling before Him.

Your hand of fellowship with your offerings is in greater need more than ever before. My beloved vessel of God, people love evil more and more. These same people used to have better standards but have never learned to hate evil. In the past 25 years it has grown worse and worse but we have increased our efforts. My beloved, your offerings are one of the main keys God is in need of. Without your offerings He cannot send me where souls are crying for righteousness. Put your hand on an offering today and let it reach me as soon as possible. With your perfect obedience, your offering will reach our office in God’s time. Hallelujah!

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you. Amen!

Thanking you with prayers and with faith, I am,

Brother and Sister Gagnon.
