And the God of peace shall be with you!

“Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4: 9. This is just one of Paul’s avenues to God. Most church people say the only way to God is Jesus. I agree that Jesus taught his followers that He is the way to the Father. Read John 14: 6. Before the crucifixion, Jesus taught that only through Him could one get to know the Father. He taught in verse 21, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” Remember, Jesus is on the Earth at the time of this teaching, and these conditions were to be fulfilled by those who cared to belong to God and to be loved by God. After the crucifixion, Paul was called of God to take us to the Father and to all of his benefits.

First of all, the gospel of Paul is written to establish men and women in the truth (the word of God), and not only to get them saved, but to keep them saved while living a holy and sanctified life as a sacrifice acceptable unto God. Without the gospels of Paul, along with the other gospels in the Old and New Testaments, no one could ever be presentable nor acceptable unto God.

1 - Who wants to learn? 2 - Who wants to receive?

3 - Who wants to hear? 4 - Who wants to see?

1 - Who wants to learn? Paul had all it takes from the Holy Ghost to present every person perfect unto God. In my 33 years of preaching across Canada, I have found very few people who want to learn that we must walk holy and acceptable unto God. However, there are a few who have wanted to learn, and today they are saying. ‘Brother Gagnon, what we have learned, we have learned through your conduct and your preaching of the word of God. We are watching you and your family and we are thankful to have you all for a pattern.’ Today, Paul is not here, but hallelujah, we are here! I want to say that God has never left his people without a shepherd with a heart after God.

2 - Who wants to receive? I find the people who do not want to go Paul’s way running to and fro after all kinds of ministries and thereby receiving their spirits. Paul made reference to the things which they received of him. These things are the Jesus whom Paul preached and the Spirit whom Paul preached; not the christmas Jesus and not the spirit of christmas. These are things not found in the gospel of Paul. Do you want to receive only what Paul received from God and was meant for you and I? It is the only way to the gospel of eternal life, the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

3 - Who wants to hear? I tell people that throughout all of Paul’s letters, we are called upon to walk free from sin. Today, there are people who do not want to hear what Paul and I are saying. To them, it is out of the question. They would rather hear and believe that no one can walk without sin. I hear Paul loud and clear, and I am not alone. Hallelujah! There is no blessing in sin, so we who hear Paul are blessed! Praise God!

4 - Who wants to see? It is one thing to hear, but it is something else to see what you hear! Those who are not born of God will never enjoy these two essential, and indispensable keys to the kingdom of heaven. This all comes through the preaching of the cross (the word of God) which is the power of God for those who are saved. I am not the one who makes these rules. Read 1 Corinthians 1: 17 and 18. Paul’s gospel will take you to the blessing and to the foundation of Christ, which is the liberty to hear and see. Hallelujah! Peter goes on to praise Paul’s gospel when you read 2 Peter 3: 15 and 16, “...even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” Peter had eyes to see the kind of wisdom he received, and he had the same wisdom to make sure you and I see what happens to those who are unlearned.

I praise God and Jesus Christ who has called me with this same wisdom. My denomination wanted me to dive into their books the day they saw I had a zeal to preach the gospel of Christ, but by reading the book of Acts as well as Paul’s letters, I was able to see that the wisdom my denomination wanted me to receive, was not of the Holy Ghost, the gospel of Christ’s wisdom. Right away, I fell in love with Stephen, who was filled with Holy Ghost wisdom, as well as Peter, John, Silas, Philip, Paul, Jude, James, Philemon, Titus, etc… God had me see that denomination wisdom and Holy Ghost wisdom does not match. Being then called of God to preach the gospel of Christ, the wisdom needed was not the one found in man’s institutions. It was the wisdom seen in these men of the King James Bible that was needed to do the exact work, and nothing short of it. This wisdom can only be received by reading the Bible.

This following quartet comes from Paul: learned, received, heard, and seen. This is what all of us need. The gospel of peace cannot be found in a christmas gospel or in any denomination gospel. Unless you are a Bible reader (no other books at all), you cannot bless yourself with the God of peace. What Paul shows us is the ultimate, so do not judge yourself unworthy of the God of peace. Get in the word of God and you will see it all comes through the knowledge of knowing, seeing, receiving, and hearing what the word of God is and has for you. The word is the very God of peace. No word, no peace.

Today, you are reading about a man of the 21st century who is in complete control of what all the churches and the rest of the world has to offer. I mean with the God of peace (the word of God) I possess peace which passeth all understanding, so, whatever goes on around me cannot touch my mind, my heart, my going in, nor my coming out. I am in the world, but (hallelujah and glory to God) I am not of this world. My peace is not of this world. It is the gospel of Christ, and what is out there cannot be found in me, because it is not found in God’s word. So, get in the word and let the same word be your peace, joy, and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. It is all through faith, and the word of God is that faith.

Practice what you read and you will have freedom, liberty, and peace! You will no longer be a slave to stress, to depression, and to oppression, but you will become a savior of many. I would love to see people walking free, free, free, free; having learned, received, heard, and seen. This is total freedom.

Now let us start doing what we see in Paul’s gospel today. 2 Corinthians 9: 6 - 8. Galatians 6: 6 - 8. Philippians 4: 17 - 19. This is December alright! Without the word of God (Christ) you would be involved with the christmas Christ, enslaved to another traditional yearly spending spree. Put all that together with tobacco money, liquor money, party money, bingo money, and christmas card money, etc… There is so much that you and I are not involved with, and this allows us to have so much more money to preach the gospel, while keeping the hand of God occupied around the clock to make all grace abound in your going in and in your coming out. Turn all these dollars to the best and largest year-2000 offering ever, even as an odor of a sweet smell unto God (these are the very words of Paul). You deserve the blessing which comes from giving with joy. Thank you and thank you so very much for learning, receiving, hearing, seeing, and giving. Hallelujah! Your offering will be received with prayer and faith for you and all your needs. This is all my beloved. Move on with the God of peace (the word of God) and let the word of God be true in your life today. My wife and I covet your prayers for our ministry Canada-wide and for the truth online - www.wwcj.com.

Grow in grace (the word of God). Let the eyes of your understanding be wide open as you read your Bible. Thank you so much for laboring with me in Canada.
