QUESTION :

I was just on your web site and really enjoyed what I heard. There is not very many people that come across sin as you do, and I know that we can and must live a life free from sin and become perfect in this present world. (Titus 2: 11 - 12) The word of God tells us that whosoever is born of God sinneth not, and I believe that, but we are not born again over night. Salvation is not instant - it takes time. When we come to Christ we are just babes, and as new born babes we desire the sincere milk of the word that we may grow. And when you accept Jesus Christ in your life in sincerity, He will come into your heart and purify it by faith. But my friend, after that the ball is in your court (so to speak) and it is up to us to cleanse ourselves from the filth that is in our body and mind. Paul states this in Romans 12:1. So that lets me know that we are not born again when we ask Jesus to come into our life, just converted, now we move on,amen!

I would like to know what you believe on this subject?

Thank you!

ANSWER : NEW BORN BABES DO NOT SIN

Thank you for your email inquiry and for your patience as we prepared answers to your questions from the Bible!

You wrote the phrase - whosoever is born of God sinneth not - Now, just believe what it says and you will not sin! I believe this with no ‘buts’ - there is no sin in Christ. If you are going to believe Jesus did what He did, then go and sin not. It is that simple!

You also wrote that salvation is not instant and that it takes time. Where did you get such a gospel? Who told you these fables? It is all in Christ and in Christ there is no time. There is also no sin in Him, so don’t sin if you want to be his brother.

When you say that we are just babes, this is taken out of context because being babes has nothing to do with being born again. As a matter of fact, babes do not sin! Of course we need to grow, as we grow in the affairs of this world, and if we know how to walk as a member of the body of Christ, we will continue to grow without sin.

If you “accept Jesus in your life with sincerity,” and you really are sincere, you will not sin!

We do not “clean up by faith.” We simply clean up by doing what the Bible says and while we are at it we don’t go back to our old way of life. 1 Peter 4: 1 & 2, Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. By faith you have suffered in the flesh as much as Jesus suffered on the cross, but now you are finished with your sinful life. You have to want it!

Romans 12: 1 & 2 makes it very plain. Present you body a living sacrifice. Not a dead one! When you walk in sin, your body is a dead sacrifice and this is what Jesus was as He lay in the grave - He was a dead sacrifice because He bore our sins, until He was born again on the third day - born of the Spirit to live unto God.

Read Romans 6 many, many times. Titus also said it, and he made it very clear. So go on living just like the Bible says, and you will know that you are born of God for whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

Keep learning from all I have to teach you, and do not believe any other ministry that tells you otherwise. “Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;” 2 Corinthians 4: 1.

Salvation is to accept to live by the word of God and not by denominational fables that teach you to invite Jesus in your heart! There are no scriptures in the Bible that talk about this type of salvation - believe in your heart - YES! So go on believing, it is by faith only! Alleluia!
